Resignation of Non-executive

Chairman

Evolution Energy Minerals (“Evolution” or the “Company”) (ASX: EV1, FSE: P77) wishes to advise that in order

to pursue other interests, Mr Trevor Benson has resigned from his position as Chairman and Non-executive Director of Evolution. Non-executive Director, Mr Henk Ludik, has been appointed as interim Chairman. A specialist recruitment firm will be engaged to conduct a search for a new Chairman.

The Directors wish to express their appreciation for the contribution that Mr Benson has made to the Company during his tenure as Non-Executive Director and Chairman.

In anticipation of the Company announcing the results of its updated Definitive Feasibility Study and a Framework Agreement with the Government of Tanzania imminent, the Company is undertaking an independent review of the Board. The purpose of the review is to ensure that the Board is positioned to

steward the development of the Chilalo Project and the implementation of the Company’s strategy to establish a vertically integrated business.

This announcement has been approved for release by Evolution’s Board of Directors.
