ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE

On July 23, 2020, the registrant issued a news release announcing certain preliminary information related to its second quarter 2020 financial results. For the second quarter of 2020, Everest expects to report $160 million of pre-tax losses related to the Covid-19 pandemic, $15 million of pre-tax catastrophe losses related to civil unrest in the United States and $38 million of pre-tax net investment income. A copy of that news release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
