  • The Krajkovac project is considered prospective for pegmatite bearing lithium mineralisation

  • The Company has completed preparations for its wholly owned Vranje-South project and has commenced with a maiden field program

Jadar Lithium Limited (ASX: JDR ) (“ Jadar ” or “the Company ”) is pleased to announce that it has completed its initial field program on its wholly owned Krajkovac project in Serbia.

The project geology on the Krajkovac project consists of a granite complex intruding highly metamorphosed Proterozoic gneisses, schists, quartzites and marbles that are overlain by Miocene silts, sands and gravels. The Company has executed a permit wide, reconnaissance sampling program, which consisted of:

  • 20 soil samples;

  • 47 stream sediment samples; and

  • 4 outcrop samples.

The objective of the program is to define anomalous areas within the project area, which will be investigated in detail in the follow up programs.

All samples have been submitted to the ALS laboratory in Belgrade for sample preparation, from where they will be shipped to an ALS laboratory with suitable analytical capability relating to Lithium and Borate analysis.

The Company has also completed preparations for the maiden field program on the Vranje-South project and commenced with field activities. The initial program will consist of reconnaissance mapping, soil and stream sediment sampling, as well as outcrop sampling. The Company will update the market on completion of the program.
