Dear Sir/Madam

MOLYBDENUM PROJECT UPDATE IN TOLI TOLI, SULAWESI

Richfield Group Limited (ASX: RCH) wishes to announce the following activity and project updates:

  • A drilling contract has been signed with PT Indo Asia Resources for the Phase 1 drilling programme utilizing a Boyles 38 diamond drilling machine with the capability to drill to depths greater than 500 metres in HQ drillcore size. All drilling will be done using PQ and HQ triple tube coring techniques so as to maximize sample recovery. This drilling rig, drilling mud and accessory equipment are currently being mobilised from Jakarta and Balikpapan and are expected to be on site at the helicopter lift-off point at Malala by 26 July 2008.

  • A contract has been signed with PT Pelita Air Services for the provision of a Bolkow BO-105CB twin engined helicopter which will be used to support the drilling programme. Sufficient Avtur has been mobilised from Balikpapan to Toli Toli to support the helicopter operations. This helicopter will be on site by 25 July 2006 and will be used to sling the helicopter, ancillary equipment and fuel into the site of the first proposed drillhole. It is expected that drilling of the first hole with a planned depth of 400 metres will commence on or before 1[st] August 2008.

  • The site of the overgrown Nancy Camp (ex-Rio Tinto, 1982) has now been cleared and construction of new camp facilities including accommodation blocks, messing hall, core shed and power facilities is well underway and should be fully operational in time for the arrival of the drilling rig on site during the last week of July 2008.

  • A remote sensing and structural interpretation study of recently acquired SPOT Imagery and Ipstar high resolution radar imagery acquired by the company earlier in the year has been completed by the consulting firm RS & GS of Perth. This study will assist in the regional exploration programme to be carried
