The Manager Company Announcements Office Australian Stock Exchange Limited Exchange Plaza 2 Esplanade PERTH WA 6000

Dear Sir/Madam

TOLI TOLI – PROJECT & DRILLING UPDATE FOR SEPTEMBER 2008

Richfield Group Limited (ASX: RCH) wishes to update the market on recent activity on the Toli Toli molybdenum project in Sulawesi, Indonesia and make a correction to the announcement released to the market on 1 October 2008 containing assay results.

The company wishes to clarify that assay results have been received for the first 197 metres of drillhole M37 and were reported to the ASX on 1[st] October 2008. Assay results for the remaining 208 metres (not 228 metres as incorrectly reported in the ASX release of 1[st] October 2008) of drillhole M37 are awaited. Further delays in receipt of the outstanding assays can be expected due to the Muslim Idul Fitri holidays in Indonesia, during which most business activities come to a standstill for approximately two weeks.

A summary of other activities and planned milestones is below:

  • Drilling at drillhole M37 was concluded at a depth of 404.85 metres on 9 September, 2008.

  • Drilling at drillhole M38 commenced on 12 September 2008 and as advised in the Company’s announcement of 1st October, was at a depth of 149.75 metres as of 30 September.

  • Drilling of M38 was plagued by continual breakdowns and the hard rock formation encountered (silica altered fractured intrusive or “SAFI”). The engine broke down on 27 September 2008 at a depth of 149.75 metres and following a major overhaul of the engine, drilling resumed on 1st October 2008. As of midday on 3 October, 2008 drillhole M38 was at a depth of 178.75 metres and drilling slowly ahead in SAFI with increasing molybdenite mineralisation (trace-0.1%) being observed.

  • It is expected that drillhole M38 will drill out of SAFI and into the main mineralised zone (as intersected by drillhole M37) at a depth of 200-250 metres and continue to a planned depth of 400 metres. This hole has the twin objective of defining the western contact of the main mineralised zone and to test for the continuity of molybdenum mineralisation intersected in the upper part of drillhole M37 down to a vertical depth of at least 325 metres below surface.

  • Proposed drillhole M39 at site “B” on Figure 1 is designed to give a better indication of the average grade of mineralisation along this section previously tested by drillholes M30, M14 and M16. A second hole is proposed at this location to test the remaining width of the mineralised zone. This hole will be angled at 45 degrees and will be drilled until the SAFI zone is reached, a maximum length of 200 metres. Subsequent reinterpretation of the geology and previous drilling results seems to suggest that some of the highest molybdenum grades lie in close proximity to the SAFI contact zone. This second hole is designed to test that zone along this section.

(Drillhole M37 was drilled at site “A” and drillhole M38 is currently being drilled at site “C” )

  • By the end of the month construction of the office building, kitchen/mess, core-logging shed and labour quarters had been completed. The only structures that remain to be built are additional core storage racks for an estimated 2,500 metres of core. These should be completed by the end of October 2008.

  • A VSAT satellite internet communication system, leased from PT Lintasarta and using the SingTel satellite, was installed during the month and worldwide internet communication to/from Nancy camp is now fully functional.

  • Plans for the next month include - completion of drillhole M38 at drillpad C; commencement of drillhole M39 at drillpad B; preparation of drill pads H, I, D and E; mobilisation of replacement engine for the IAR Boyles 37 drilling rig to site; mobilisation of a smaller, more man portable drilling rig to site; construction of additional core storage racks at Nancy Camp and the renewal of the helicopter contract
