CLARIFICATION OF RECORD DATE FOR RIGHTS ISSUE

Richfield Group Ltd (ASX:RCH) wishes to clarify a matter relating to its announcement regarding the Rights Issue of 18 October 2007 and the Prospectus lodged with ASIC and the ASX on the same day.

An inconsistency exists in these documents between the Record Date that will be used to determine the entitlement to options under the Rights Issue.

RCH wishes to advise that the correct Record Date to be used is 1 November 2007.

Trades made after the close of the market on Friday 26 October 2007, will be "exentitlement' to the Rights Issue. This is taking into account the period of T+3 for processing of share trades by CHESS and the Share Registrar.
