Director Appointment and Resignations

South East Asia Resources Limited (ASX: SXI ) ( Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Executive Director to the Board, Mr Gary Williams.

Gary Williams is an experienced international mining executive with formal qualifications as a mining engineer, mine manager holding an MBA. As Founder and Managing Director of the global mining materials handling company, Continental and mining services company United Mining Group, as well as previous position as an Executive with Cyprus Coal, Coal & Allied/CRA, Shell, and BP Coal, Mr Williams has over 30 years experience in the industry.

Gary has significant expertise in the exploration and development of world class, highly efficient open-pit, underground and resource infrastructure projects in Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, New Zealand, North & South America and South Africa.

The Board of Directors of SXI welcomes Mr Williams to the team. His expertise will be of huge value to the Company going forward.

In addition, the Company advises the resignation of Mr Steven Pynt and Mr Michael Scivolo, who will step down from the Board of Directors, effective 29 November 2013. The Board wishes to extend its’ appreciation to Mr Pynt and Mr Scivolo, for their valuable contribution to the Company over the years and wish every success in their future business activities.
