Corona virus: Operational status from Europris ASA
Fredrikstad, Norway, 25 January 2021: Due to the Covid-19 situation, 25 Europris
stores will be closed until 31 January.
During the weekend, the Norwegian authorities imposed strict restrictions on
Norwegian retail businesses around the greater Oslo region. It was decided to
close all retail trade other than food, pharmacies and other important supply
functions. Europris will, however, continue to work for the same status as the
grocery retailers and seek to have stores reopened, on the basis that it will
reduce pressure and crowds in grocery stores as many of the same articles can be
found at Europris.
Europris will look into actions to reduce costs and adapt running operations.
The situation may change rapidly and Europris follows the situation closely.
Europris will continue to do its utmost to maintain its operations as far as
possible at normal levels within the parameters set by the Institute of Public
Health in order to serve the public.
