Sale of French television activity

Saint-Denis, November 17th, 2017 – EuropaCorp Television has sold business assets related to French television production activity.

The transaction includes the sale of the following elements:

• The French-language TV productions of the company including French-language projects of TV series and TV films of EuropaCorp Television, produced, in production or in development, as well as the rights on the catalogue of French-language TV series and TV films developed by EuropaCorp Television ;
• The following English-language TV series and TV films, produced or in development : XIII, Le Vol des Cigognes, Taxi Brooklyn, The Art of War, Life after Life and La Patrouille Perdue ;
• The adaptation rights of all the assets sold by EuropaCorp Television ;
• The assets and the commitments given or received directly linked to these assets.

The transfer of these elements will go with the take back of all the employees of the French activity.

The current CEO of EuropaCorp Television, Thomas Anargyros, has acquired these business assets for a price of €11 million.

As a result of this sale, the Company's overheads will decrease by a yearly amount comprised between €2.5 million and €3 million.

EuropaCorp retains interest in its US television business and is not selling this activity. The Company will continue to produce and distribute English-language TV series with strong international potential, such as the series Taken whose second season is currently in production.
