Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Company (GO) announces that it has signed an Indefeasible Rights of Use (IRU) agreement with Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC)

Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication Company (GO) announces that on 4/6/2014 has signed an Indefeasible Rights of Use (IRU) agreement with Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC). By which STC has granted GO the indefeasible right of use for 15 years of 30 thousands ports on its fiber network as an initial phase. The agreement gives GO the right to acquire up to 100 thousands ports. These ports will be used by GO to serve their clients with broadband Internet services and fixed voice services to both residential and small businesses. This agreement will enable GO to enhance its competitive edge in the vital broadband market through expanding its coverage area and diversify its offering to the market, which will eventually enhance GO financials and fulfil its pursuit of establishing a sold place in the telecommunication market is Saudi Arabia.
