Etherstack commences support revenues on Samsung project
Etherstack plc is pleased to advise the group’s North American subsidiary, Etherstack Inc., has signed a material contract to provide support services to Samsung Electronics America Inc. in connection with the deployment of Etherstack’s carrier grade LMR-IWF technology in the United States.
The contract is expected to generate revenue in excess of USD $550,000 over a 12 month period.
These additional support revenues earned as part of this agreement are separate from the support revenues in the contract with Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd originally announced on 22 July 2021 although they are connected with the same project.
David Deacon, Etherstack’s CEO noted “this is an enormously important stage in the overall deployment as the project moves from the development phase through to beta and controlled introduction stages of the first live public safety communications utilising 3GPP standards compliant LMR-IWF technologies, which will be a world first.”
The Company expects an upwards step change in long term recurring support revenues commencing this financial year. Etherstack has a 31[st] December financial year end.
