US Federal & Australian Public Safety Network Wins
Etherstack, the specialist in critical communications radio solutions, is pleased to announce two new public safety contract awards in the United States and Australia.
The Company’s US subsidiary, Etherstack Inc., has received its first order for APCO P25 network equipment from the US State Department. The award represents the sixth US federal agency to purchase Etherstack P25 network products for use in public safety applications, including the Department of Justice, Department of Interior, Department of Homeland Security and others.
Etherstack’s VP North America, Mr Doug Chapman, said “It’s great to see new Etherstack business being driven by recommendations in a tight user community whose professionals put their lives on the line daily to protect our families. These wins take years of testing and vetting to get over the line. We keep building on each success.”
Auria Wireless Pty Ltd, Etherstack’s Australian subsidiary, was also recently awarded a supply contract with an Australian state police force. Multiple Australian federal government departments and state-based emergency services organisations already use Auria digital radio systems and equipment.

Besides its existing APCO P25 digital radio network products, which have been deployed successfully around the globe for over a decade, the Company has seen solid growth in its new high-security tactical communications and PTT (Push-To-Talk) over satellite product lines. The Company has received multiple repeat orders from defence agencies for these solutions in the past 18 months.
