Etherstack announces expansion of Russian police radio network
Etherstack is pleased to announce it has received orders for the expansion of the police radio network in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don.
The original digital radio network was commissioned in April 2012 and the expansion order follows 12 months of successful operation.
David Deacon, Etherstack’s Group Chief Executive Officer, noted “This is a particularly pleasing project as it represents repeat business in a territory that possesses significant opportunity for Etherstack technology. Furthermore, this network will act as a reference site for other Russian opportunities we are pursuing”.
This latest order represents the fifth Russian police order Etherstack has won in the past 24 months.
Etherstack has supplied police radio networks now operating in four Russian cities. Other police radio networks using Etherstack solutions are currently in use in the United States, Canada and American Samoa.
