Etherstack Signs Major Technology Contract with JVCKENWOOD
Etherstack plc today announced a substantial technology licensing contract with Japanese professional and consumer electronics company, JVCKENWOOD Corporation (“JVCKENWOOD”), which would see Etherstack wireless technology incorporated into a range of JVCKENWOOD products.
The agreement relates to technology which will be delivered from Etherstack to JVCKENWOOD in late 2012 and 2013.
Group CEO, Mr David Deacon said, "JVCKENWOOD is a longstanding and valued customer of Etherstack. This new project, in a new technology area, represents an expansion of our continuing relationship." He followed, "We are privileged to have our technology incorporated into JVCKENWOOD's world class products. JVCKENWOOD's commitment to quality and innovation is well known."
The technology will be delivered by a multinational team of Etherstack engineers from the company's European R&D centres with local support provided by Etherstack's Japanese office in Yokohama.
