CISCO COMMENCE ROYALTY PAYMENTS TO ETHERSTACK
As disclosed in the Company's prospectus document lodged with the ASX on 6th June 2012, Etherstack had been expecting a new royalty stream to be established during 2012 from Cisco Systems Inc. (“Cisco”) in the United States for Etherstack technology embedded in one of Cisco's government radio network products.
Etherstack is pleased to advise that it has received its first royalty payment from Cisco for solutions sold incorporating Etherstack technology, and expects continued royalty flow from Cisco related to this product line.
Group CEO, David Deacon, noted “While the first royalty payment is relatively small, it signals the start of potentially significant royalty revenue streams for Etherstack. Etherstack and Cisco will continue to co-operate to ensure this revenue opportunity is realised and to collaborate on further business development opportunities “.
