Estrella Resources Limited ( ASX: ESR ) advises that one of its founding non-executive Directors, Mr Simon Kidston, has taken the decision to step down from the Board effective today in order to pursue other business interests.

This decision is part of the planned Board transition process which follows the recent addition to the Board of Rob Thomson as an independent non-executive director.
