PROPOSED APPOINTMENT OF EXTERNAL AUDITORS

In the Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2015, the Company noted its intention, in line with good governance practice, to put the external audit out to competitive tender during 2016 for the audit of the financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2017.

The competitive tender process was overseen by the Audit Committee and the selection process involved members of the Audit Committee as well as the Board and senior members of the finance management team. This process has now been concluded and the Company intends to propose to shareholders, at the 2017 Annual General Meeting, the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

The chairman of the Audit Committee, Terry Twigger, said "We thank KPMG for their strong contribution as the Company's auditors over many years and for the current year. We look forward to working with PwC for the 2017 financial year".
