F1: Mr. Griffin has historically reported indirectly shares owned by his adult children even though such children have not resided in Mr. Griffin's household for many years. Consistent with the fact that Mr. Griffin has disclaimed beneficial ownership of those shares and in order to avoid potential confusion arising from the fact that Mr. Griffin's son, Patrick Griffin, is a separately reporting Section 16 person and that Mr. Griffin may not be aware of transactions undertaken by his adult children, Mr. Griffin will no longer report any beneficial ownership interest in shares held by any of his adult children. As last reported in his most recent Form 4 filed with the Commission on 11/29/10, Mr. Griffin continues to directly own 356,913 shares of Escalade common stock and to indirectly own 971,296 shares and 1,800,000 shares of Escalade common stock through a family limited partnership and a family limited liability company, respectively, as of 12/25/10.
