NEW POWER PLANT PROJECT FOR SOCIETE LE NICKEL'S FACILITIES IN NEW CALEDONIA

Having conducted a detailed comparative review of three competing bids for the power plant project which is intended to take over from the current power station that supplies SLN's Doniambo plant in New Caledonia with electricity, the Boards of Directors of ERAMET and of Société Le Nickel (SLN), meeting on 30 September 2014 and 2 October 2014 respectively, have selected the Eiffage group as the "preferred bidder". A substantial boost to SLN's environmental and financial performance is expected from the power plant.

The two Boards noted that the planned date of second-quarter 2015 for the final investment decision for this project remains unchanged.
