Technology alliance with the TELUS subsidiary, TELUS Health, the leader in health IT solutions in Canada and owner of pharmacist management software in Canada.
New technological platform introduced by Groupe DOmedic Inc. featuring integrated tools to monitor compliance with treatment and enhance the safety of the medication pathway: PIO (Integrated Compliance Platform).
Groupe DOmedic Inc. and TELUS Health join forces to offer an integrated medication compliance solution. Pharmacists and care homes in Canada will now have optimum control over the medication dispensing chain, in compliance with traceability obligations.
Following the TELUS Health's investment, the PHARMAGEST Group retains 26% of the capital.

DO-Pill SecuR™ manufacturer, Groupe DOmedic Inc. and TELUS Health signed an agreement in May 2010 covering distribution of the smart pill dispenser in Canadian pharmacies. TELUS Health provides health ICT solutions to more than 3,000 pharmacies in the Canadian market. 1,300 pharmacies in Quebec are connected to TELUS Health's pharmacy management software.
Poor compliance is a crucial public health issue. Taking up the challenge, Groupe DOmedic Inc. designed and developed DO-Pill SecuR™, together with two other products: xPill (a virtual pill dispenser that can be downloaded to smartphone or tablet) and xPill PRO (the care home version).
To connect the pharmacy (dispensing pharmacy software) and the patient (DO-Pill SecuR™), all data is routed through a secure server developed by Groupe Domedic Inc., DO-Sup Web.
Groupe Domedic Inc. is range for pharmacists in Canada takes a comprehensive approach to meeting the need to monitor medication compliance. It includes PIO (Integrated Compliance Platform), a centralised management solution that includes the DO-Pill SecuR™, xPill and xPill PRO products, as well as access to the DO-Sup Web server and TELUS Health's Pharma Space.
Thanks to this agreement with TELUS Health, Groupe DOmedic Inc. significantly expands its network in Canada, offering its solutions to Canadian pharmacists through TELUS Health's services and to pharmacists connected to the TELUS Pharma Space. It will also open access to a new health services market segment in Canada for xPill PRO, namely care homes for the elderly.
