Company Secretary Appointment / Resignation

The Board of Directors of Carbine Tungsten Limited (“the Company” or “Carbine”) (ASX Code: CNQ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David Clark as Company Secretary for Carbine, effective 10 July 2014.

Mr Clark’s appointment as Company Secretary compliments his existing responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer where his appointment to this role was announced on 17 April 2014. Mr Clark is an experienced Chartered Secretary, a member of the Governance Institute of Australia and holds a Masters of Business of Administration (Executive) from the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM). Mr Clark has worked as a Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of a privately funded group of biotechnology companies and is on the audit, risk and finance committee of an international global health organisation providing independent assurance and assistance to the organisation on audit, risk management, control and corporate governance.

This appointment follows the resignation of Mr Tom Bloomfield as Company Secretary, effective 10 July 2014. The Board would like to thank Mr Bloomfield for his dedication and service since his appointment to the role of Company Secretary in January 2013 and wish him every success in his future endeavours.
