� Project Manager Appointed for Mt Carbine

The Board of Directors of Icon Resources Ltd is pleased to welcome Dr Ian MacLeodCarey as project manager to Icon’s Mt Carbine tungsten mine in north Qld.

Ian has over 40 yrs experience in the mining industry and holds an Open Cut Coal Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Qld) and a First Class Metalliferous Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Qld, NSW and WA). His extensive resource industry experience includes senior managerial and technical roles in both coal and base metal operations.

In the past 15 years Ian’s work has encompassed numerous operations where he has been employed in a wide range of project and mine management roles, including the initial feasibility and investigative work associated with the Mount Morgan tailings retreatment project. He has also been associated with a number of projects in north Queensland and his extensive project management experience, and knowledge of the area, will provide a significant contribution to the success of the Mt Carbine project.
