Item 8.01. Other Events.

On October 13, 2021, EPR Properties (the “Company”) delivered a notice of redemption to redeem all of the $275.0 million principal amount of its 5.250% Senior Notes due 2023 (the “2023 Senior Notes”). The redemption date has been set for November 12, 2021. In accordance with the redemption provisions of the 2023 Senior Notes and the Indenture, dated as of June 18, 2013 (the “Indenture”), by and between the Company and U.S. Bank National Association, the 2023 Senior Notes will be redeemed at a price equal to the principal amount of the 2023 Senior Notes plus an applicable premium calculated pursuant to the terms of the Indenture, together with accrued and unpaid interest, if any, up to, but not including the redemption date.
