Item 8.01. Other Events.

On December 21, 2017, EPR Properties (the “ Company ”) announced that it has completed its previously announced redemption of all of the Company’s outstanding 6.625% Series F Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Shares at a redemption price of $25.299045 per share. The redemption price was the sum of the $25.00 per share liquidation preference, plus $0.299045 per share, the amount equal to all accumulated and unpaid dividends up to, but not including, the redemption date. The aggregate redemption price of approximately $126.5 million was funded using the net proceeds of the offering of the Company’s 5.750% Series G Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Shares.
