The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– E.ON sells VAW aluminium to Norsk Hydro As part of its extensive divestment program E.ON has agreed to sell Bonn-based VAW aluminium AG to Norsk Hydro ASA, Oslo. The price for VAW totals 3.1 billion euros. This figure includes financial liabilities and pension provisions amounting to 1.2 billion euros. E.ON will earn a tax-free profit of approximately 1.1 billion euros from this sale.
