EnviTec Biogas AG determines issue price and placement volume

Lohne, July 12, 2007 – EnviTec Biogas AG (ISIN: DE000A0MVLS8, WKN: A0MVLS),
headquartered in Lohne in the German state of Lower Saxony, today announced
that it has fixed the issue price of its shares at EUR 47 per share. Thus,
the offer price is in the middle ground of the bookbuilding range of EUR 42
to 52. The transaction was oversubscribed several times at the issue price.

All of the 5,160,000 shares offered (including an overallotment of 673,000
shares) were placed. A total of 3,000,000 of these shares resulted from a
capital increase of the company. The company's gross IPO proceeds from the
capital increase total approximately EUR 141 million (before IPO costs).

The initial listing of the company's shares in the Prime Standard segment
of the Official Market on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange is scheduled for
July 12, 2007.
