EnviTec wins follow-up contract from RENERGIE green solutions:
Additional joint projects planned

Lohne, 2 June 2009 - EnviTec Biogas AG [ISIN: DE000A0MVLS8] has won a
contract from RENERGIE green solutions GmbH (RGS) for the construction of
another biogas plant with an electrical output of 500 KW. Headquartered in
Wetterzeube, Saxony-Anhalt, RGS is a subsidiary of Raiffeisen-Holding
Niederösterreich-Wien and has operated in the German biogas market since
late 2007. The first two plants have laid the foundation for close
cooperation in the future.

At the end of April 2009, EnviTec Biogas erected and started the first 500
kW plant for RGS in Dorf Mecklenburg, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The next
biogas plant will be built in Lübars, Saxony-Anhalt, and cover the
electricty needs of some 1,000 households. The special feature of the
plants is that they can run on a wide variety of different input materials.
They can process not only liquid and solid manure and maize silage but also
complete plants to produce environmentally friendly energy. 'Our biogas
plants are not only highly efficient. They are also very flexible when it
comes to choosing the input materials,' said Olaf von Lehmden, CEO of
EnviTec Biogas. 'This way, we solve disposal problems and avoid
mono-cultures.'

'We have chosen EnviTec because of their proven technological expertise and
reliability. The growing demand for energy and the shortage of fossil
resources mean that the future belongs to renewable energy. We will
therefore continue to invest in biogas,' said Dr. Andreas Glatzer, Managing
Director of RENERGIE green solutions. RGS and EnviTec plan to realise
additional projects in future. 'We are pleased that RENERGIE green
solutions has chosen our company again and are convinced that this
partnership has huge potential,' said Olaf von Lehmden.

EnviTec Biogas AG covers the entire value chain for the production of
biogas - including the planning and turnkey construction of biogas plants
as well as their commissioning. The company provides the biological and
technical service and also offers the full plant and operating management.
In Güstrow, in the German state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, EnviTec
builds the world's largest plant for the production of biogas to natural
gas standards with an electrical connected load of 22 megawatts. In
addition, the company also operates its own biogas plants. Today, the
company is represented in more than 15 countries throughout Europe and as
well in China and South Korea. In 2008 EnviTec generated revenues of EUR
101 million and EBIT of EUR 3.2 million. The EnviTec Group currently has
about 350 employees. Since July 2007 EnviTec is listed on the Prime
Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
