EnviTec Biogas receives order from bio-strom Energiesysteme:
Approx. EUR 15 million for biogas plants

Lohne, October 16, 2007 – EnviTec Biogas AG [ISIN: DE000A0MVLS8, WKN:
A0MVLS], headquartered in Lohne, Lower Saxony State, again received an
order from bio-strom Energiesysteme GmbH & Co. KG, Vechta. The total
contract volume is approximately EUR 15 million. By order of the subsidiary
of BKN BioKraftstoff Nord AG, EnviTec will build biogas plants with an
electrical connected load of 6.3 megawatts. When signing this contract both
companies assume that a reliable political framework, which takes account
of the advantages of biogas within the energy-mix, will also exist in the
future.

Thus, EnviTec’s total backlog of orders amounts to approx. EUR 137 million.

Ukraine, Romania and India. In Belgium, Croatia and Greece, the company is
already in the process of planning and constructing biogas plants. In 2006
EnviTec generated revenues of EUR 100.7 million and EBIT of EUR 18.5
million. The EnviTec Group has about 250 employees. Since July 2007 EnviTec
is listed on the Prime Standard segment of the Frankfurt Stock
Exchange.
