EGL COMPLETES AQCUSITION OF MINE ASSIST

Further to its market release of 25 August 2006, the Environmental Group Limited (EGL) is pleased to announce that today it successfully completed the acquisition of Mine Assist Pty Ltd and its controlled entities.

As stated in its market release of 25 August 2006, EGL anticipates Mine Assist to be a major contributor to EGL's revenue and profit growth, adding approximately \$4 million in additional revenue this financial year and up to \$800,000 of additional profit for the year to 30 June 2007.
