Confirmation of Dispatch - Rights Issue and Placement
We confirm that the shares issued pursuant to the pro rata non-renouceable rights issue (Rights Issue) and placement to CVC Sustainable Investments Limited (Placement) have been entered into their security holdings and that the holding statements have been dispatched today.
We enclose the Appendix 3B for the issue of 40,000,000 ordinary fully paid shares and 8,000,000 options to CVC Sustainable Investments Limited pursuant to the Placement.
In addition to the enclosed Appendix 3B we also provide the following information in relation to the Appendix 3B lodged with ASX on 13 August 2007 in relation to the Rights Issue:

The Environmental Group Limited (Company) allotted 124,011,136 shares (comprising 84,911,136 shares issued pursuant to the Rights Issue and 40,000,000 issued pursuant to the Placement) on 21 September 2007.
$\overline{2}$ Issued Capital
Following the issue of the shares pursuant to the Rights Issue and Placement the Company will have 226,804,499 ordinary fully paid shares on issue.

Set out at Attachment A is a list of the 20 largest shareholders of the Company following the allocation of shares pursuant to the Rights Issue and the Placement.
