Waste Recycling Agency Agreement & Senior Management Appointment

The Environmental Group Limited (EGL) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an exclusive Agency Agreement with Turmec Pty Limited (Turmec) for the sale of world leading recycling solutions in Australia.

Turmec are specialists in recycling solutions for the global waste industry, providing bespoke systems that enable their customers to efficiently recover high-quality material from waste, reducing the need for landfills, and accelerating the move to a circular economy. Turmec are the market leader in turnkey recycling solutions, exceeding clients’ requirements, delivering exceptional equipment and offering unparalleled aftersales support.

Turmec have a wide range of recycling plants for all the major solid waste streams including co-mingled separation, construction and demolition waste, municipal waste, industrial waste, waste to energy and other specialised plant. Turmec’s custom facilities can be planned, designed, and installed to their customers exact specifications.

The Agency Agreement provides for:

  • A retainer to promote, raise brand awareness, service clients and sell the recycling solutions in Australia.

  • Success based sales commission.

  • Cost plus a margin for all engineering, maintenance and services provided in Australia.

  • Sale of spare parts held on consignment in Australia.

The initial period of the agreement is for one year with the intention of the parties to build a long-term partnership, the agreement commences 1 March 2021.

In addition, EGL is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Paul Gaskett as National Manager – Sales and Marketing. Paul comes with a wealth of knowledge in business development and sales, Paul has over 14 years’ experience in Industrial Waste Services across the Civil Infrastructure and Resources Markets. He has held several senior positions in both sales and operations the most recent National Business Development Manager for Cleanaway’s Industrial Waste Services division, part of Australia’s largest waste management company.

Paul will play a pivotal role with EGL in driving the sales and tendering process and the sale of recycling facilities under the EGL-Turmec agency agreement, further to this he will also develop service capabilities for the recycling plants, Paul is due to commence of the 1[st] of March 2021.
