Notification of Transactions by

Persons Discharging Management Responsibility ('PDMRs').

Pursuant to the Company's obligations under Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4, the Company hereby notifies that the following Director purchased Ordinary Shares of £0.05 each in the Company (the "Shares"):

Dr Jim Buckee notified the Company on 1 October 2014 that he had purchased 49,775 Shares on the London Stock Exchange on 1 October 2014 at 109.4 pence per share and 15,582 shares on the London Stock Exchange on 1 October 2014 at 109.1 pence per share totalling 0.01% of the share capital of the Company.  

Prior to this transaction, Dr Jim Buckee held 1,930,767 Shares, being 0.24% of the share capital of the Company. The total holding of Dr Jim Buckee following the transaction is 1,996,124 Shares, being 0.25% of the share capital of the Company. 

The Company's issued share capital consists of 802,660,757 Shares with voting rights.  Each Share carries the right to one vote.  The Company does not hold any shares in Treasury.
