Energy Technologies Limited raises $1,300,000 in Convertible Note Offer to restructure debt

Energy Technologies Limited (ASX:EGY or “the Company”), a 100% owner of Bambach Wire and Cables Pty Ltd (Bambach) which manufactures low voltage copper insulated cables, is pleased to announce that is has raised $1,300,000.00 via a convertible note issue

The convertible note will attract a 12.0% coupon rate and is convertible at any time up to, and including, the maturity date of 23 February 2023 at a price of $0.168. Noteholders may elect to convert their convertible notes into fully paid ordinary shares after giving 60 days’ notice, however, conversion is subject to EGY obtaining shareholder approval for the issue of the shares on conversion

On the 26 February 2021, the Board of Directors announced at the 1H21 results that it intended to restructure debt commitments. This raising is intended to, in part, replace some of the high interest debt commitments of the company. Under the current terms, the company expects to save ~123,000.00 per annum in finance costs through the issue of these notes.

The Board will continue to look at opportunities to save finance costs and structure facilities in the best interest of the company and shareholders
