Market Announcement

Dulhunty Power acquires USA Distributor

Dulhunty Engineering Ltd., the operating subsidiary of Dulhunty Power Ltd (DUL) has acquired the business of Pan American Insulators Inc. (PAI), a distributor of insulators for electrical transmission and distribution.

PAI operates a warehouse in Kiln, Mississippi and has distributed products from DUL and other suppliers since 1995.

The Chief Executive of Dulhunty Engineering, Mr. Jack Roughan, said that the acquisition of PAI would considerably strengthen the presence of Dulhunty in the USA and that he expected that improved market presence would help focus the company’s efforts to build business throughout the country.

Mr. Roughan said that initial sales had been very strong due to the system damage caused by recent hurricanes and that the company was expediting deliveries of stock to PAI in order to support and build credibility with the established utility customer base during the hurricane season.

Dulhunty will maintain relationships with distributors in other parts of the USA and work to broaden the product range offered by PAI.
