Appointment of Director and Alternate Director
Energy Technologies Limited (ASX: EGY) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Yulin Hu as a director of the company. Mr Hu has joined the Board of the company, effective today.
Mr Yulin Hu is an Australian resident and leading businessman whose roles include the President of China City Construction Holdings Limited, which owns a construction business in China with ~ 6bn RMB (A$1.1bn) turnover.
The Board of Energy Technologies recently approved a placement of ordinary securities and convertible notes to an entity related to Mr Hu, Auster Holdings Pty Ltd, to raise $0.84m from Auster via an equity placement and new convertible notes issue. The initial placement under the company’s 15% capacity of 33.68m shares at $0.01/share has already occurred
EGY further announces the appointment of Ms Meiping Hu (Ping) as Alternate Director to Mr Hu.
Ms Meiping Hu has a Bachelor degree in Commerce at the University of South Australia and is currently undertaking a Master of Advanced Professional Accounting (CPA Program) at Macquarie University.
Ms Hu has worked in Fujian HongSheng Construction Group Co., Ltd and an accounting practice in Hong Kong and has experience in various matters in Australia for over eight years, including property investment, imports and exports, and many other communications with Australian firms in other areas.
EGY CEO Alfred Chown welcomed the appointment of Mr Yulin Hu and Ms Meiping Hu. “I am particularly delighted to welcome Mr Hu as a Director in EGY and look forward to working with him to accelerate the Company’s growth prospects in Australia and Asia” he said
