Appointment of Director

Energy Technologies Limited (ASX: EGY) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Gary Ferguson as a director of the company. Mr Ferguson has joined the Board of the company, effective 1 October 2012.

Mr Ferguson brings a strong commercial and accounting background to the Board. He has substantial academic and practical accounting experience, as well as having been the owner and operator of businesses in the construction, hospitality, heavy transport and earthmoving and quarry industries. Mr Ferguson currently conducts an accounting practice in Kempsey, specialising in the provision to commercial clients of advice in corporate structure, taxation, reporting and financial management areas.

Mr Alfred Chown, the Managing Director and Acting Chairman of EGY said: "I welcome Gary Ferguson to the Board. I expect that he will bring to the Board a proactive, practical approach to driving the success of the EGY and its businesses."

Mr Ferguson will be a member of the Audit and Remuneration committees.
