APPOINTMENT OF MANAGING DIRECTOR
Energy Metals Limited (ASX: EME) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Shuqing Xiao as Managing Director of the Company effective from today. Mr Xiao replaces Dr. Weidong Xiang whose resignation was announced on 9 August 2018.
Mr Xiao is currently a Non-executive Director of EME. He is a geologist with over 15 years’ experience in earth science and mineral exploration, predominantly in the uranium industry. He holds a Master degree of Science and has worked for a number of mineral research institute and companies. He has extensive experience in mineral analysis, exploration, mining and project management and worked for Energy Metals from March 2013 to February 2016 as a project geologist.
The Board believes that apart from his expertise in mineral exploration, Mr Xiao’s deep understanding of EME’s business will greatly benefit the future growth of the Company.
The key terms of Mr Xiao’s appointment are summarised in Appendix 1.

Termination and Notice
Either party may terminate the contract on four weeks written notice. The Company may terminate the contract without notice summarily in the case of serious misconduct, neglect of duty, failure to comply with a lawful and reasonable direction, conviction of a criminal offence, or conduct that may have a materially detrimental effect on the Company.
