Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Energy Action Limited (“EAX” or “the Company”) is pleased to announce that Murray Bleach has joined the Board of Energy Action Limited, as an independent Non Executive Director, effective 3 July 2012.

Mr Bleach has over 30 years experience in the accounting and finance industry. Mr Bleach originally worked as a Chartered Accountant for KPMG Peat Marwick in Sydney and Dallas, Texas. His move into financial services came in 1987, when he joined Bankers Trust Australia.

Mr Bleach joined Macquarie Group as part of Macquarie's acquisition of Bankers Trust Australia. During this time he was CEO of Macquarie’s US business and led the building of its US infrastructure business.

Mr Bleach was previously CEO of Intoll Group and is currently a Non Executive Director of Industry Funds Management and Eraring Energy. He is also on the board of Suicide Prevention Australia and Strongform Group and is a member of the Advisory Board for Derwent Executive, an executive recruitment consultancy.

Energy Action Chairman, Dr Ronald Watts said: “We are delighted that Murray has accepted our invitation to join the Board. Murray’s financial and strategic expertise will complement and build on the existing skills on our Board. We welcome Murray as a Board member in the Energy Action team.”

Mr Bleach will stand for re-election to the Board at the next General Meeting.
