Energeia granted reservation in the transmission grid for 105MW by Statnett

Reference is given to the third quarter report of the 11 November and investor presentation of the 13 November. The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (“NVE”) require ground mounted Solar PV power plants to have completed a maturity assessment by the grid company including grid connection approved by the TSO (Statnett) prior to starting a concession approval procedure.

The system operator (TSO) in the Norwegian energy system, Statnett, has given the approval and reservation of a 105 MW grid connection for the Ålamoen Solar PV power plant. This enables Energeia to start the concession application procedure with NVE.

Ålamoen Solar PV power plant is located in Hjartdal municipality in Vestfold and Telemark county, and is currently assessed to be between 106 and 140 MW in size depending on final technical design. The concession application is planned filed to NVE in the second half 2024.

Subject to the NVE concession application procedure, construction and operation may start in 2025.
