Quarterly Activity Report to 31 March 2020
Eneco-Refresh Ltd (the Group) is pleased to provide a review of our last quarter noting an overall increase in revenue compared to the same period last year. There have been no material developments or changes to the business activities of the Group and it has been “business as usual” for all 8 factories throughout the quarter noting that we remain exempt from closure and restriction directions.
Refresh Waters
Summer typically represents strong sales for our bottled water business. With the COVID-19 pandemic this year, the stockpiling of goods in supermarkets, while not condoned, meant that our bottled water sales increased in this sector.
However, as many businesses were closed or started working from home arrangements in March 2020, this has had an impact on our office delivery of bulk water. It is anticipated that there may be some deterioration in this area over the next few months until businesses reopen.
A breakdown by Cash Generating Units is presented below. New South Wales had a higher negative variance because of exceptionally good sales in the same period last year. Victoria and Queensland saw only a marginal decline in sales. Total Refresh Waters sales was up 9% compared to the same period last year.

Refresh Plastics
We are glad to report that new sales have been successfully secured, resulting in good revenue growth in the last quarter, almost doubling from the same period last year. The increase in local manufacture of sanitisers and disinfectants has resulted in additional sales for our spray bottles, containers and jerrycans. There has also been significant demand for our Ampi activity toys, which can be used both indoors and outdoors - https://ampiplastics.com.au/ampi-toys/.

The 83% increase attributable to Refresh Plastics has helped the Group achieve a 20% increase in revenue for the quarter.
With consistent expenditure but an increase in revenue, the Group was able to generate a positive cash flow of $219k from its operating activities in the last quarter.
