Board Election/Retirement
Refresh Group Limited (Refresh) is pleased to announce the election of Mr Alan Ong as an independent non-executive director. Because of other commitments, Mr Murray Smith has decided to retire from the Board. Mr Smith served as an independent non-executive director of Refresh for the past 3 ½ years.
Mr Ong, MBA B Eng (Hons), started his career as a Quality Assurance Engineer and progressed to Principal Engineer with a large Singapore government-linked company. He was subsequently involved in business development work with the Singapore Technologies group dealing in water treatment systems.
After securing a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance, he moved into a career in banking and currently manages his own investment banking business. With more than 20 years of industry and commercial experience, he would certainly be an asset to the Board.
The Board would like to thank Mr Smith for his contributions to Refresh.

Refresh is primarily in the home and office delivery of bottled water and is the second largest national company in this sector. It uses a patented steam distillation process to provide the purest drinking water. It is Australia’s largest producer of distilled water with a capacity to produce more than 10,000 litres per hour.
Refresh Pure Water is retailed at Woolworths and some Coles supermarkets in New South Wales and Queensland. In Western Australia, it is retailed at Coles and many IGA supermarkets.
