Acquisition of Aquazuro Australia
Refresh Group Limited (Refresh) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Aquazuro Australia Pty Ltd’s business (Aquazuro).
Aquazuro has been in operations in Sydney since 1999. It was acquired by the present owners in November 2002. Aquazuro Managing Director, John Wotton said, “We are glad to be able to sell to such a reputable company as Refresh. We know that our customers would be well looked after.”
Refresh started its first factory in Perth in 1997. In 2003, Refresh chose Sydney as the location of its second factory. It now has factories in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Toowoomba and Kalgoorlie. Besides Neverfail owned by Coca-cola Amatil, Refresh is the only other company in the home and office delivery segment of the bottled water market that has multiple locations.
Refresh will integrate the Aquazuro business into its existing operations. The acquisition of Aquazuro is both profit and cash flow accretive and will add to Refresh’s revenue and profit. It will also increase customer density in Sydney thereby reducing distribution cost.
