Appointment of Director
Refresh Group Ltd (Refresh) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Chee Heong Ong (Roy) as a Non-Executive Director.
Mr Ong graduated from Monash University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Computing. Since then, he has extensive experience in the field of Information Technology. He has worked for multi-national corporations such as The International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) and ExxonMobil in Singapore.
In 2003, Mr Ong founded Basis Systems Services Asia and became their Managing Director. Its clientele ranges from the financial and banking sector to the automobile industry and includes renowned international companies. This spreads across the Asia Pacific region including China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Mr Ong continues to maintain very strong business networks in these countries.
Mr Ong is also active in social and community services and is an Honorary Treasurer of a Buddhist temple in Singapore.
Following the appointment of Mr Ong, the Refresh Board committees will be restructured as follows:
