Legal Counsel - Ministry of Energy

Scope of duties: legal services for the Ministry of Energy, in particular:

• development of legal opinions, draft contracts and resolutions and providing legal consultancy services on matters relating to the operation of State owned enterprises supervised by the Minister of Energy.

• chairing General Meetings in public companies.

Relevant regulations: commercial law, with a particular inclusion of the provisions of the commercial companies law, civil law and economic law, with a particular inclusion of energy law and act on bituminous coal mining.

Legal Counsel in the Legal and Litigation Department of the Minister of Treasury.

Scope of duties: legal services for the Ministry of Treasury, in particular:

• preparation of legal opinions related to the application of commercial law, civil law, administrative and economic law, within the scope relating to the activity of state-owned legal persons (state-owned enterprises and state companies) and Treasury's property administration,

  • preparation and issuing opinions on draft contracts and declarations of intent,
  • development and issuing draft decisions and administrative decisions,

• drafting of pleadings and acting as a legal counsel on the position of a procedural representative of the State Treasury - Minister of Treasury in the following proceedings:

  • civil, conducted both as legal actions and non-litigious proceedings and separate proceedings, also in cases for establishment of eligibility or legal relations,

  • judicial and administrative before the District Administrative Court and Supreme Administrative Court,

  • enforcement,

• realisation of duties related to the legislation, in particular preparation and issuing opinions on draft normative acts.
