Kari Vyhtinen as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company with effect from
1 March 2022

Kari Vyhtinen has a broad and extensive experience within the mining and
processing industry. He has been responsible for large capital projects,
business development, mining/mineral production operations, and building
organisational capabilities as well as overall business performance in both
management and executive roles. During his career he has been working for
companies like Outotec, Talvivaara Mining and Nordkalk. Mr Vyhtinen comes from
an EVP position with Nordkalk Oyj/Ab and prior to that Kari was leading
Nordkalk’s operational production efficiency improvement program as COO.

Kari Vyhtinen holds a Master of Science degree (MSc) in mineral processing from
the Helsinki University of Technology and an Executive MBA from Aalto
University.

The company continues to the ramp up gold production at the Friday mine and mill
in Idaho, as well as restarting the Pampalo gold mine in Finland in the
beginning of 2022 and initiating preliminary development at the US Grant and
Kearsarge mining properties in Montana in 2022.
