Emu completes due diligence on the Speedway Project

As announced on 30[th] October 2015, Emu has entered into an option agreement with Genesis Gold Corp to acquire the Speedway Project in Utah, USA. The agreement was subject to a due diligence period. Emu has completed its due diligence and has advised Genesis accordingly and made the first option payment.

Emu has registered a US company for the purpose of conducting the exploration work at Speedway. The first program will consist of two drill holes, the second contingent on the results of the first. Application for approval to drill these holes will be made following receipt of the necessary tax and business information. Based on general advice from the regulating authority, approval is expected to take between 1 and 2 months. Quotations for the drilling program are being sought and the other associated works are being planned and organised.
