PUBLICATION OF PROSPECTUS

Further to the announcement this morning regarding the proposed open offer to shareholders (the "Open Offer"), institutional placing (the "Placing") and offer for subscription (the "Offer for Subscription") of new ordinary shares (the "Issue"), the Board of Directors of Empiric Student Property plc (ticker: ESP), the owner and operator of premium student accommodation across the UK, announces the publication of a prospectus (the "Prospectus") containing full details of the Issue.

The Prospectus published today will be available on the Company's website at www.empiric.co.uk.  A copy of the Prospectus will be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will be available shortly for inspection at www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSM.
