WITHDRAWAL OF SECTION 249D REQUISITION NOTICE

Empire Resources Limited (ASX: ERL – “Empire” or “the Company”) advises that following the announcement on 3 October 2018 regarding a Board restructure, the requisition notice under Section 249D of the Corporations Act to remove the existing Board of Directors has been withdrawn.

Following the issue of the Section 249D notice, discussions with a shareholder resulted in the appointment to the Empire Board of Michael Ruane and Jeremy Atkinson and the resignation of Brett Fraser and Chris Banasik.
