Resignation of Joint Company Secretary

EML PAYMENTS LIMITED (ASX: EML) (“EML”) advises that Mr Paul Wenk will resign as Joint Company Secretary with effect from 30 June 2021 to focus solely on the increasingly demanding role as Group General Counsel. Paul will continue to devote significant energy to M&A, strategic advice to the Group CEO and Board, and group-wide legal.

The Board expresses its sincere thanks to Paul for his significant contribution to the Company’s corporate governance requirements since his appointment as Company Secretary in November 2018.

Mrs Sonya Tissera – Isaacs FGIA FCG, (CS, CGP) who was appointed as Joint Company Secretary on 26 November 2019 will assume the role of sole Company Secretary of EML Payments Limited.

As announced to the market in November 2019 Sonya joined EML following a career in Finance and Corporate Governance within the investment banking, financial services and Industry Superannuation sectors. Sonya holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance), is a Chartered Secretary/Chartered Governance Professional, a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute and Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia.

The Board are delighted to have Sonya move to being EML’s sole Company Secretary and continue her great work in the area since her original appointment in 2019.

For the purpose of ASX Listing Rule 12.6 Sonya will be primarily responsibile for communication with the ASX in relation to listing rule matters.
