Further to the West Peak Iron Ltd ("West Peak" or the "Company") Trading Halt Request announcement dated 24 July 2012, West Peak now requests that the ASX grant a suspension on the ordinary shares with immediate effect on the following basis:
Reason for Suspension
West Peak is currently finalising a proposed capital raising.
Duration of Suspension
West Peak expects to finalise an announcement intended to lift the suspension prior to market open on Monday 30 July 2012.
